Our Approach

As the Salesforce Admin and Integration Developer, I was responsible for designing and implementing the integration. Here’s how we approached the project:

• Cost-Effective Integration: We chose to build the integration using Make.com instead of custom code.
• Modular Design: The integration required roughly 30 modules and 5 or 6 branches to handle cases where data was missing or required translation.
• Custom Queries and Conversion: Due to differing data schemas between the two Salesforce instances, we developed custom queries and conversion logic to ensure accurate data sync.
• Comprehensive Flow: The integration was designed to sync both new opportunities and earlier ones, with tracking for missed opportunities.
• Manual Review and Roll-Out: During the early stages, we manually reviewed the data as a safety net, ensuring the automation was accurate before full deployment.
